Pet Peeves

When I was in Elementary school, my art teacher told my class once about what Pet Peeves were. She explained that they were all the things that annoys the crap out of you. One of the things that annoys me are when people use incorrect grammer. I mean, sure; Nobody's perfect. But why do they constantly talk as if they can't talk? Is it easier that way? I also really hate it when teenagers use the slang terms. "Oh 'sup broham! wuttup?" What has the world come to?
When others disrespect Asians: It gets on my nerves when ignorant children go around asking people what their race is. What difference does our race make? And when someone says to an Asian: "What race are you?" the other replies "I'm Japanese." and they say "Oh really? I thought you were Asian." The Japanese girl responds "I am Asian," and the other person says "But which are you? Japanese or Asian?" and it just goes on and on. IT IRKS ME.
When people do things in public that they shouldn't do: People who chew food with their mouth open makes me want to hit them on the head with my math book. Please people, chew with your mouths CLOSED. Another thing is when people smack their gum. Imagine yourself in a situation where you are in a crouded elevator. There's the mother with her three loud children, the old married couple chatting loudly about lawn mowers, and the lady behind you smacking her gum. The scent of bubblegum is so powerful from her open mouth and that noise. The horrible noise. Oh, the agony! Kill me now!
Teenage couples: Now, I am a teenager. And I am in a relationship. But compared to others, there is a great difference. First of all, Public Displays of Affection. I'm totally fine with a quick hug or holding hands but standing in the middle of the school hallway, hugging for minutes on end creating traffic? COME ON. I mean, there are other times. Also making out if public. I was in the hallway once and there was this couple making out and no one did anything about it. Please excuse me while I go barf. *Barf* *Barf* It was so gross...
